Utilizing the best quality video acquisition equipment coupled with professional grade analog to digital converters, fast computers and the right software we can utilize our abundant experience to produce high quality digital copies in in DVD and data formats there-by preserving your video memories for generations to come.

Film Conversion Services.

Utilizing modern Telecine film to video conversion equipment, the end result is a cleanly transferred copy of your 8mm and Super8 memories recorded on film to DVD and/or digital medium.  Accepting reel sizes from 3" up to 7" you'll be able to enjoy your families old home movies any time or share the video transfers with distant relatives.

Converting to DVD

The services we provide in video tape conversion to DVD involves capturing all of the video footage contained on your provided video tapes.  Captured video from each tape will be encoded into a playable DVD.  The number of DVD's required is contingent on the number of hours of video captured from your tapes.

Every effort will be made to ensure the contents of each tape are identified to their respective DVD(s).  Our standard capture rates (listed in the Services & Pricing tab) does not include editing your footage.  Whatever is on the provided tapes is captured and placed on DVD.  Editing services are available based on our hourly rate (listed in the Service & Pricing tab).

Analog tapes comprised of VHS, VHS-C, Beta, Beta Hifi and Analog 8mm have no identifiable tags between video segments.  This results in one continuous video file being captured from these formats for the duration of the video recording from each tape.  These types of recording will be placed on DVD with automatic chapter markers placed equally throughout the DVD.  This will allow you to jump quickly to different parts of your video.

Hi, Digital8 and MiniDV insert markers and date information between recorded segments.  These types of recordings allow us to easily segment your videos on your DVD.  This is done on these formats at no additional cost.

Converting to Digital Format

Another service that we offer with respect to video conversion is to offer your captured video recordings in digital formats.  This means, you would receive digital copies of your videos in file format compatible with PC and MAC personal computers.  From these files, you may video them directly on your computer, stream them to your television using media streaming devices such as the WD Live, Popcorn Hour or PS3.  There are many devices that can stream video from personal computers.  This feature is also available in some televisions.

These files could also be used to upload to online service such as "youtube" so you can easily share your memories with distant family.

What type of Conversion is Right for you?

It really depends on what you'd like to do with your video and how you'd like to enjoy your memories.  You may choose one or the other or both.  No additional charge is applied to the cost of conversion.  You simply pay for the additional media required to obtain the types of recordings you desire.
