Your Scans
Because we believe that a job worth doing is worth doing right, we offer 3200dpi scans for all slides and negatives we do (600 or 1200dpi for photographs). You get the uncompressed TIF files, as well as reduced JPG versions compatible with your favorite digital photo printing company. You may however opt for only JPG files. Print our scans the same way you would your digital camera pictures.
Why not higher dpi scans? We have done extensive testing of top quality slides at scanning resolutions up to and including 7200dpi, and have found from our experience that there isn't any more information to get off negatives or slides beyond 3200dpi. Similarly we have found that due to the limitations of printing technology and the media itself (paper), beyond 1200dpi there is nothing further to be gained on printed photographs. 600dpi photo scans are ideal for simple re-printing or presentations. 1200dpi is ideal for archiving and any other future purpose.

Your Videos
Your converted videos are supplied to you on high quality DVDs. You may choose any of the DVD images below to be overlayed on your finished DVD as well as whatever text description you'd like to appear on the disc.
The same applies for digital copies of your captured video. Should you choose the digital copies option, you may choose to supply us with a USB harddrive onto which we can transfer the digital video files. This is a more cost effective solution as we charge a minimal fee for transferring the data in that manner (pricing is listed in the "Services & Pricing" tab on this site.
Your Imaged Documents
Your imaged documents are returned to you on high quality DVDs. The organization of these imaged documents will be intuitively placed in descriptive directories that refer to the documents contained there-in. You may choose any of the DVD images below to be overlayed on your finished DVD as well as whatever text description you like to appear on the disc. Alternatively, you may choose to have your imaged documents place on a customer supplied (Windows formatted) USB removable hard drive.
Your DVD Image and Video Discs
Upon completion of your scanning or video conversion order, you will receive one or more DVD's containing your video or scanned images (depending on how many slides/negatives/photos we've scanned). All scanned images are provided to you in the original uncompressed TIF format as well as a copy of these same images in JPG format (suitable for printing at your favorite photo printing retailer). Video DVDs will be playable in most standard DVD players, or in the case of digital format video files, the discs will be readable in most modern PC and MAC computers.
